Information: Why Does Racism Continue?

Information: Why Does Racism Continue?

Racism has been around forever, it seems. it's a subject within the halls of Congress. People are always claiming that they're not racist, but racism doesn't get away . Why does racism continue when numerous people profess to be for equal rights for all?
Colin Kaepernick tried to bring the issues to the eye of the general public nearly four years ago when he took a knee during the anthem at knowledgeable football during which he was a star player. Then other players joined him. rather than that specialize in the aim of his taking a knee, he was criticized severely for being against the flag of the us of America and against the military. That wasn't the case.
He has stated in interviews that he was using the position he had to form people conscious of the inequality during this country and therefore the brutality which was often exhibited by the police against black men. He realized that he had a platform where others didn't so he tried to use it to form the general public aware. He didn't roll in the hay for himself, but he was trying to form a far better world for others. Instead, he was accused of being un-American and against the military. He subsequently lost his career over it and was apparently blackballed within the NFL.

Growing up as a neighborhood Black with a white birth mother and a black father and having been adopted by a white family, his experiences weren't entirely an equivalent as many black people that grew up in various parts of America. Even those that became rich and successful still felt that they had to warn their black sons of the issues they might face if ever confronted by the police. Racism wasn't dead and will be used against them for no cause or little cause. He was doing what he did for others who could use a voice and platform.

Black professional athletes are the bread and butter for professional sports leagues. With over 70% of the players being black on most teams, professional sports would suffer without them. they're extremely important to the franchises and therefore the owners of the teams. Yet they and their concerns over racism haven't been addressed. Even when the NFL finally came out with an initial statement that they support Black Lives Matter, there was no mention of Colin Kaepernick.

Perhaps if the NFL, NBA, MLB, et al. had listened four years ago, all the turmoil and chaos from George Floyd's murder won't have happened. Indeed, maybe that untimely death wouldn't have occurred if those problems with police brutality against black men had been rectified some time past .

African Americans aren't the sole ones who have suffered racism. Asian Americans, Latinos, Native Americans, and lots of others have suffered also . Japanese Americans faced extreme racial hatred during war II when 120,000 innocent people were forcibly faraway from their West Coast homes and imprisoned in American concentration camps. it had been mass incarceration through racism which was a results of racism and hatred.

Yet it's unlikely that the other ethnicity has suffered such racism as some black people routinely face simply for the colour of their skin. There could also be people that are guilty of some crime who are harassed by the police, but there are too many unarmed and innocent black people, men particularly, who face hardship and persecution just because of how they appear .

Although most cops are likely caring and compassionate individuals, it's a difficult job and there's still an excessive amount of racism among enforcement and therefore the general public. it'll not get away until there's more care, love, understanding, and acceptance within the world. Hate fuels racism, and it's still an enormous problem.

Hopefully, the peaceful protests after the untimely death of George Floyd will end in meaningful changes happening within the us it'll take tons of individuals to vary their minds and attitudes. it's gratifying to ascertain numerous White race et al. uniting with the black community within the concerns which are raised numerous times within the past.

Racism has no place in society and will be eradicated. it's time for people to try to to their part, to offer back if possible, and to form this a far better world for all people.
